RVT | Veterinary Assistant Position

Seeking a full-time veterinary technician or assistant to join our ambulatory practice working exclusively with performance horses. We provide advanced, individualized on-farm care and value candidates with extensive equine experience. This position is 4 days per week, 10-hour days.

Responsibilities:

• Safely handle and prepare horses for procedures

• Assist with imaging (including radiographs) and treatments/medications

• Maintain mobile equipment and inventory

• Perform basic lab work

• Drive work vehicle safely (valid US driver’s license required)

• Professionally interact with clients, trainers, and barn staff

• Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

• Strong horse-handling skills

• Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Experience in equine veterinary medicine - preferred
